Who We Are
Founded in late 2002, The Mid Maryland Triathlon Club is a USAT-sanctioned,
not-for-profit group dedicated to helping area triathletes. Our members include
novices looking for support before completing their first triathlon, to
veterans of Ironman competition. The club is run by the members; they organize
all the activities, social events, clinics, and workouts. Our workouts and clinics
are geared to multisport athletes of all abilities. Joining the club, and getting
to know the other members, is a great way to introduce yourself to the world of
triathlon, meet others who are passionate about the sport, and improve your
athletic abilities, all while having fun.
In addition to workouts and clinics, we hold monthly membership meetings on the
first Monday of every month. They are held at Princeton Sports in Columbia
(10730 Little Patuxent Parkway). There is never a charge and all
are welcome to attend. We invite a different speaker each month to come and
address the group on topics ranging from health issues to training to personal
accounts of experiences doing the things we love!

The Mid Maryland Triathlon Club is a not-for-profit, volunteer, community-based
organization. The elected Board, appointed committee chairs, and members-at-large,
all enthusiastically volunteer their time and talents to benefit the club, our
members, the sport, and the community. The Board is elected by the members.
Elections occur annually at our December meeting. Anyone who is a member in
good standing at of the time of the election may run for office and vote.

it also makes you feel good. The strong sense of community present in multisport
is built upon a foundation of volunteering - people helping others. The Mid
Maryland Triathlon Club relies on YOU, our members and interested parties,
to conduct events and to promote triathlon around the area. Please volunteer.
It makes you part of the event! No experience is necessary.
